SUMMARY

Operations management responsibilities for a 2.5+ million tpy frac sand processing operation in the South Central United States. 24/7 operation with approximately 50 non-union hourly employees plus salaried direct reports. Duties include but are not limited to budget development, safety, production, plant inspection, planning, preventative maintenance, and cost control. 10+ years operations management experience in either aggregates / construction materials production or industrial minerals mining and minerals processing required. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Management responsibility for 2.5+ million tpy frac sand mining and minerals processing operation
  • Manage approximately 50 non-union hourly and salaried direct reports for this 24/7 processing facility
  • Work as a member of the management team to devise systems for increasing production while reducing costs
  • Responsible for management of budgets, safety initiatives, mine planning, cost controls, preventative maintenance, quality, production efforts, etc.
  • Involvement with community relations
REQUIREMENTS
  • 10+ years operations management experience in a silica processing, aggregates / construction materials mining or similar facility
  • Engineering, business, or similar degree degree preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong focus on safety and prior MSHA related experience
  • Must possess strong management skills
  • Must have solid verbal and written communication skills
